LHV is in need of a new AED (automated external defibrillator) device as the original unit is no longer functional. Please call the office at 812-536-9272 if you have contacts/ideas for purchasing a replacement.

VOLUNTEER DAY

A huge THANK YOU to all the amazing folks who worked with us on our October Volunteer Day!  Work began with providing a jump start to the closing of the pools. The focus then shifted to providing a face lift to the dam on Lake Helmerich with the gathering of sticks, limbs, etc. from the west side of the structure. The volunteers were able to fill a large dump truck with what they collected.

Trash bins are furnished behind the maintenance building for Homeowners only. Please distribute trash equally between bins so we do not over fill. We are charged extra for bins that are too heavy.  

Please do NOT dump large items. The bins are for household trash only.

Blackfoot Landfill is located at 3726 State Road 64, Winslow, 812-789-2647. The hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. If you have large items, please take them there. 

Pike County residents can obtain a voucher  that is good from June 2023 through May 2024 at the Pike County Solid Waste Department at the courthouse in Petersburg. For more information call 812-354-2924.

Our updated gate system allows us to open gates for an extended period of time. This function is available for every homeowner having family functions. This will allow the gate to remain open for a short period of time. We ask that you submit your request to the office at least five (5) days in advance, including the date and time of day desired. Gate opening will be limited to one hour. Please be sure to specify gate number. We request five days so that we can give notice to all homeowners of when any given gate will be open. We hope this will be one of the many benefits we will share with our new system.     812-536-9272
